Each day more and more people are sleeping rough on Melbourne's streets, parks and laneways, turning public spaces into their bedrooms. Have you ever wondered why the numbers of homeless seem to grow each day, or what you could do to ease their plight? Are there some simple and effective strategies we can each employ to alleviate this situation?

Join us as we explore this issue and hear from local experts on some initiatives in place to support, care for and rehouse those living on our streets in the world's most liveable city. .

Moderated by Michael Short, journalist for The Age, and featuring guest speakers Dean Griggs, Manager of Social Investment for the City of Melbourne and Sally Hines, National Manager for The Big Issue.
